Tuesday, 02 June 2026, 4-6 pm: Information event on Erasmus+ traineeships/internships
Erasmus+ Traineeships in Europe
German students and international students enrolled at one of the universities in Saxony-Anhalt (full degree students!) are invited to join us for a Zoom session, in which Angela Wittkamp from the Erasmus Traineeship Office Saxony-Anhalt will provide information on:
- how to find an internship abroad
- how to apply for the Erasmus grant
- how to prepare for the traineeship stay abroad (visa requirements, insurance etc.)
Furthermore, there will be experience reports from previous/current trainees:
- a German interior design student from Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design Halle, who did her internship at an Irish furniture designer and manifacturer,
- a Turkish European Studies student from Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg, who interned at an event management company in Barcelona,
- and a Sudanese industrial engineering student from Merseburg University of Applied Sciences, who did his internship at a logistics automation company in Poland.

Erasmus+: remaining places for the summer semester 2027
Keen to spend a semester abroad with the Erasmus programme but missed the regular application period? No problem, because thanks to the distribution of remaining places, the adventure of a semester abroad is within reach! The application period for remaining places for the summer semester 2027 will open on 1 June. The online application for these places can be submitted until 21 June.
ELTE Budapest Summer University 2026, 06 - 19 July 2026
The ELTE Budapest Summer University offers high-quality academic courses in an international environment, combined with rich cultural and social experiences in the heart of Budapest, one of Europe’s most vibrant capitals.
Course Fee
For students registering between 11 May and 15 June 2026, the participation fee is: 600 EUR
Partner discount: Students from Erasmus+ partner universities can enrol at an early bird discount price, 480 EUR during the entire registration period. To validate the discount, please upload your home university’s enrolment certificate to the registration platform.
The course fee includes:
- tuition fee
- course materials
- lunches on course days
- coffee breaks
- opening ceremony
- welcome package
- leisure-time programs
- weekend excursions
Important Information
- Maximum number of participants: 20 students per course
- Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis
- To preserve the international character of the program, we can accept a maximum of 5 participants per country.
- Due to visa administration procedures, applications from participants requiring a visa were accepted until 30 April 2026
- Please note that applications can only be submitted directly by applicants through the online Application Form available on our official website.

ELTE Budapest Summer University

DAAD Fellowship: Green Hydrogen
The DAAD provides Fellowships for Graduates, PhDs and Postdocs with projects concerning Green Hydrogen in a foreign country. Gradutes will have to apply until 31st March, PHD Students and Postdocs may apply at any time.
Office Hours of the International Office in Building 01 (CWC)
Since Summer of 2024 the International Office is located at the Building 01 (Campus Welcome Center). Please check the pages of the respective employees for their office hours and locations of the appointments. To book an appointment, please use the respective appointment booking tool. Consultations without appointment are unfortunately not possible. You can reach us in Building 01 via the main entrance directly next to the Uni-Porta (at the tram stop "Universität").
